Step 1: Go to AppSorteos and choose the Slot Machine tool

To get started, log in or create an account on AppSorteos. Once inside, select the option to create a digital Slot Machine and design your own promotion.

Here you’ll see three fields you need to fill out:

  • Type: Choose between “No prize”, “Coupon”, “Link”, or “Prize”.
  • Text: This is what your customer will see when they pull the lever.
  • Value: This field is only available for prizes. If you select “Coupon”, enter the name of the discount coupon. If you choose “Link”, paste the URL of the prize page or the link where the user is redirected to claim it. If you choose “Prize”, describe what your customer has won.

You can add as many prizes as you want. If you don’t specify the probability for each one, it will be evenly distributed among all the available options, including the “no prize” ones. In other words, all options will have the same chance of appearing.

You can also remove options by clicking the trash icon next to the prize you want to delete.

Once this step is completed, click the “Create” button.

Step 3: Set up and design your Slot Machine

Customize it according to your brand identity and adjust every detail to the prizes you want to offer. Let’s go through the process step by step.

Step 3.1: General Settings

Let’s look at an example to make this clearer:
Suppose you run a travel agency and want to offer 1 trip to the Caribbean and 30 keychains. With the probability limit option, you can set the trip to have very low odds of appearing, while the keychains have a higher chance. Then, by limiting the quantity, you ensure that once the 30 keychains are awarded, they won’t be shown again — the same goes for the trip once it’s won.

On the Free and Starter plans — or if you’re on a higher plan but don’t configure these options — all prizes will have the same odds, and the system will distribute the chances equally among prizes and non-prize outcomes.

Additionally, regardless of the plan, you can activate or deactivate prizes or blank spaces at any time. Just click the eye icon next to the trash can.

Step 3.3: Design and Customize Your Slot Machine

Finally, choose the image that will appear repeatedly on the reels when someone wins. We recommend using your brand logo to reinforce your visual identity.
